A Cartoon Network license demands strict fidelity to the Ben 10 visual world — the show's signature green-and-black palette, Omnitrix iconography, and character visual hierarchy — while adapting that IP into a fully functional runner UI: HUD with score, timer, and lives readable at speed, plus a complete icon system covering characters, aliens, power-ups, collectibles, boost items, shields, and currency.
I designed all screens and assets within a tight CN brand framework. The HUD uses large, high-contrast elements for readability during gameplay. The icon system — Ben, Gwen, Kevin, alien transformations, and all collectible types — was designed at multiple sizes for HUD and menu use. The Omnitrix alien selection wheel was the signature interaction, designed to feel like the show. All work passed Cartoon Network licensor approval across two review rounds. Tools: Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD.
Thorough review of Cartoon Network's Ben 10 style bible and brand guidelines. All typography, colour, and character usage decisions documented against licensor requirements before design began.
Designed the full icon library in Photoshop and Illustrator: protagonist characters (Ben, Gwen, Kevin), alien transformation set, power-ups, collectibles, boost items, shields, coins, and crystals — each at HUD and menu scale.
Built all 12+ screens in Adobe XD: HUD with score/timer/lives, alien selection Omnitrix wheel, results, menu, and onboarding. Visual-only onboarding to ensure accessibility for the 6–12 age range.
Managed two Cartoon Network review rounds, incorporating feedback and obtaining final sign-off. Delivered production assets and specs for the iOS and Android engineering teams.
